Key Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in processing payroll for Singapore and processing IR21, ideally acquired in multinational and multi-sites companies,
  • Experience with other South-East Asia countries payrolls,
  • Very good knowledge of Labour Laws and country practises,
  • Good command of ADP Global View & SAP Payroll,
  • Excellent command of Excel(VLOOKUP, Pivot...),
  • Excellent command of English (ability to make presentations in front of international partners).
  • Additional Requirements :
  • Experience with Workday a plus,
  • Experience with an HRCRM ticket system a plus.

Description

Payroll Analysts are responsible for the execution of payroll operations for Singapore & South-East Asia countries and are accountable for accuracy, quality, compliance and timeliness. They own the performance of the country they look after. They also own the quality of the entire Payroll Employee Experience. PAYROLL OPERATIONS - Process payroll, main and off cycles, ensure employees are paid accurately, on time and in a compliant manner, - Ensure sufficient controls are in place in line with SOX requirements to capture changes month-on-month, and differences are reconciled, investigated and explained, - Process all other operations related to Payroll: post-payroll transactions (tax & benefits payments, social security fillings etc.), reporting and reconciliation, year-end operations, payroll applications for government rebates (ie. NS/Parental Claims Singapore) / reimbursements, payroll-related surveys requested by governmental authorities or insurance providers... accurately, on time and in a compliant manner, - Process foreigners tax clearances (ie. IR21 in Singapore), - Support audits that involve payroll data, - Represent Payroll Operations to a set of business partners and stakeholders (Payroll Accounting, Finance, Stock, People Teams, Employee Relations, Recruiting, Benefits, Systems), and develop excellent working relationships with them, - Be accountable for the efficiency and quality of the designated countries, and taking proactive measures to correct/improve (if necessary), ensure that all issues are addressed and resolutions put in place in a timely manner, - Propose changes to current practises to improve efficiency, employee experience and compliance, - Stay on top of legislative and business updates happening in the Analyst’s countries, through partnerships, newsletters, social watches and cascade changes, - Day to day relationships with vendors and establish ways of working with them, - Partner with relevant teams to update internal HR communication tools (People Site, Pay Portal), - Join presentations to introduce the activities of our team, - Participate in writing and storing processes/work instructions/SOPs/payroll documentation. PROJECTS - Participate in a multitude of payroll systems projects (configuration, testing, UAT), - Support mass recruitments/acquisitions/special projects, - Join other HR initiatives and projects impacting the Analyst’s portfolio of countries. EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE - Answer employee queries, record tasks, activities and resolutions in our HR CRM within agreed SLAs, - Educate People Support on Payroll knowledge, Explain/Simplify complex concepts, - Make sure the Payroll Employee Experience is always at the best (communication, information available on People Site regarding payroll, quality and timeliness of query responses, knowledge given to People Support to handle Tier1).
