Apple is looking for a world-class Engineering Program Manager to join the Display team and play a key part in driving the product development cycle from early concept to delivery, with focus on EE architecture and silicons for the next-generation display technologies.

Key Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in IC design, system architecture, engineering, or technical program management in semiconductor
  • Knowledge of Silicon/ASIC design and system architecture
  • Understanding of hardware and software integration challenges
  • Proven experience leading sophisticated, multi-functional technical projects
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Lead technology development and silicon product cycle from initial module EE and silicon concept and architecture definition to delivery, through design implementation, validation, and release for mass production
  • Set strategy and define project plans and program schedules, drive project execution
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical and engineering issues, and drive multi-functional resolutions quickly and efficiently in multifaceted, high-paced environments
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required
  • Knowledge of LCD/OLED design and process
  • Experience in consumer/portable products
  • Experience working with offshore suppliers and manufacturers
  • A working understanding of high volume manufacturing processes

Description

Display Electrical Engineering EPMs must be excellent and effective organizers and leaders driving internal cross-functional engagements and activities, along with managing external suppliers. A successful candidate will help set strategy, execute on schedule and be responsible for managing/communicating status and issues along the way. This position demands technical strengths in many areas, including optical, mechanical, electrical, SW/FW and manufacturing. This position requires EE background or experience to deal with fast-paced technical issues and development!

BS + 10 years of relevant experience
