Apple Health Technologies is looking for a iOS Software Developer to work on exploratory projects - investigating new physiological sensing methods, prototyping health product concepts, or building research data collection systems. We are a very interdisciplinary team developing new technologies for health applications across Apple’s products(Apple Watch). Much of what we do involves some aspect of physiological sensing.

Key Qualifications

  • Required:
  • 10+ years of experience in Software Development
  • Expert in Swift or Objective-C
  • experience with Python is highly desired
  • Experience in data science (including ML algorithm implementation)
  • Demonstrated technical leadership of SW development projects
  • Interest in learning new programming languages and technologies
  • Broad interest spanning from early prototyping to shipping finished features
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with web backend programming
  • Experience with C++
  • Conversant with signal processing techniques (DSP, filtering techniques, etc.)
  • Interest in health applications and features

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
