The security engineering team at Apple creates services that protect over 1 billion users by ensuring dependable computing at scale. We are seeking spectacular software engineers to create the next generation of secure infrastructure solutions

Key Qualifications

  • Experience designing and delivering security services at scale
  • Excellent programming skills in Go (preferred, must be willing to learn), Python or Java
  • Experience building cloud services and distributed systems (AWS, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Familiarity with micro service architectures and data formats including json and grpc
  • Experience with PKI and TPMs and other software/hardware security solutions (preferred)
  • Passionate about engineering solutions, performance, and quality
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and security

Description

Our team cares deeply about protecting Apple’s customers and their data throughout the data lifecycle. We build systems that leverage hardware, firmware, and software security to solve data security at scale, in the cloud. Here are examples of the kinds of projects you will be working on with us: * Designing and deploying security services that ensure the integrity of data and infrastructure * Improving the operational efficiency of security solutions * Partnering with teams across Apple to build the most secure compute ecosystem on the planet!

Education & Experience

BS/MS in computer science, engineering or equivalent industry experience

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
