The Computer Graphics Pipeline Software Engineer will work closely with Infrastructure as well as Machine Learning Engineers in a small and dynamic team to develop and scale up solutions to 3D reconstruction, synthetic data and photogrammetry problems for AR applications. To succeed within this role, you should have shown experience in several of the following areas:

Key Qualifications

  • Computer Graphics and/or Computer Vision background
  • 5+ years of production experience in pipeline development for synthetic data and/or feature films, games or VFX
  • Solid mathematical foundation in linear algebra
  • Strong proficiency in Python, writing clean and well structured code
  • Experience working in distributed processing
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Passion for delivering high quality software to end-users
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to effectively prioritize and deliver tasks on schedule
  • Excellent communication and experience working with cross-functional teams


The Algorithms organization in Apple's Technology Development Group (TDG) is looking for a skilled Pipeline Software Engineer with a strong background in computer graphics and computer vision and a passion to make. In this role, you will perform research and development work to design, implement, benchmark, optimize and distribute algorithms for ambitious computer graphics problems.

Education & Experience

BS, MS or PhD in computer vision, machine learning, computer science, computer engineering or 2+ years of relevant industry experience with a track record of successful projects
