Bring passion and dedication to your job and there’s no telling what you could accomplish. The Apple Display team is looking for an experienced, creative, and self driven engineer for the position of Display Hardware Electrical Engineer. This individual will perform in depth modeling, simulation and debugging of conductive and electromagnetic coupling effects on display module in Apple products.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong fundamental electromagnetic and physics background related to coexistence problem in system design
  • Proven understanding of standard methodologies for system-level grounding, shielding, isolation and conducive/electromagnetic interference mitigation
  • Experience in 3D EM simulations for debugging and mitigating complex EM coexistence issues
  • Hands-on experience in EM and circuit simulation tools, such as: Ansys HFSS/Maxwell/SIWave, CST, ADS/Spice/Spectre, etc
  • Familiarity with lab equipment, such as: Impedance analyzer, VNA, TDR, real-time oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc
  • Excellent language skills, verbal and written

Work with multi-functional teams to define design requirements to minimize conductive and electromagnetic field coupling Develop and improve design methodologies to minimize cross coupling between multi-functional modules inside system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for circuit-level, system-level EM simulations to understand risk areas and root cause issues Take part in the lab testing of failure conditions by taking measurements and analyzing lab data
