The Video Computer Vision org is a centralized applied research and engineering organization responsible for developing real-time on-device Computer Vision and Machine Perception technologies across Apple products. We balance research and product to deliver Apple quality, state-of-the-art experiences, innovating through the full stack, and partnering with HW, SW and ML teams to influence the sensor and silicon roadmap that brings our vision to life.

Key Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge in deep learning and computer vision techniques
  • Strong fundamentals in 3D geometry and geometric computer vision
  • Solid C++ and Python skills
  • Understanding of deep learning frameworks and workflow
  • Experience in working with large data sets and improving infrastructure pipelines
  • Creativity and curiosity for solving highly complex problems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • * Great to have: knowledge and experience in temporal reasoning and representation

Description

Education & Experience

MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related fields, with 5 years industry experience or a PhD degree with equivalent industry experience.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
