The Audio Products team is responsible for the acoustic design and overall audio quality of the EarPod and AirPod product lines. We are motivated to share our love of audio so that anyone can be moved by sound the way that we are. We are an international team with diverse expertise including acoustic design, signal processing, critical listening and design for manufacturing. We work closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering and manufacturing challenges during all phases of development. We are searching for an acoustic engineer to join our China engineering team to help bring our products to the next level.
Key Qualifications
- Excellent acoustic architecture knowledge of headphone and speaker systems
- Experienced professional with history of working with contract manufacturers
- Skilled in acoustic test equipment setup and data acquisition test sequence writing
- Experience in audio test script develop (Matlab, Python etc)
- Excellent troubleshooting and data analysis skills
- Proficient in English and Mandarin
Description
Responsibilities include:
System design review and system assembly process review
Close interaction with US counterparts and cross-functional teams to support development builds at contract manufacturers
Develop acoustic test equipment and implement test across development builds
Setup acoustic test equipment and write scripts to improve test efficiency
Validate acoustic hardware and firmware during product development builds
Education & Experience
BS/MS in Acoustics, Electrical Engineering or related field
