You’ll design and develop groundbreaking ideas for everything involved in our camera systems, from sensor to lens. You’ll collaborate with teams across Apple to research, design, develop, test, and qualify camera hardware for Apple products. The Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for the design, development, and innovation of camera hardware for all related Apple products. Our target is to deliver superior camera hardware to enable best-in-class camera user experience. Key Qualifications

  • Experience with designing analog or mixed-signal ICs in areas such as power management, current drivers, or analog sensing.
  • Solid design intuition and understanding of architectural trade-offs (power/performance/area, etc.) in both silicon and system-level design.
  • Solid EE fundamentals in both analog and digital design and tackling new challenges with the critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Description

- Defining and driving IC specifications, working in tandem with camera systems, mechanical, optical, firmware, and product/test engineers. - Engagement in vendor selection, including assessment of technical capabilities and existing IP. - Working with vendors to ensure IC implementations conform to system specifications. - Reviewing and providing guidance for both vendor and internal validation plans, results, and reports. - Providing IC specific and broad electrical engineering support to camera HW and cross functional teams.

Education & Experience

BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
