We are seeking a control engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of control systems and algorithms for next-generation haptic actuators and experiences.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong background in control engineering, dynamics, and signal processing
  • Hands-on experience in control system design, analysis, implementation, and validation
  • Familiarity with modeling electro-mechanical system
  • Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink and C/C++
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team Oriented: must be able to thrive in collaborative multi-functional environments
  • Experience with electromagnetic or piezoelectric actuators is a plus
  • Experience with high volume mass production is a plus
  • Knowledge of micro controller or embedded hardware/software is a plus
  • Knowledge of state-space techniques is a plus
  • Knowledge of nonlinear control technique is a plus

Description

Your role will encompass a diverse array of responsibilities, including: - Control system design, analysis, and integration for haptic actuators - Characterize and validate haptic module and system performance - Perform system modeling and simulation - Prototype bring-up, debug and characterization - Define factory test requirements for haptic system - Author engineering requirements and specifications - Communicating multi-functionally and throughout management structure (written, verbal, and presentation) - Perform failure mode analysis and problem solving - International travel to support the product development - IP generation

Education & Experience

BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
