Through a deep understanding of the country’s channel, product and customer landscapes, the Distributor Account Manager will implement initiatives to improve capabilities and performance of assigned distributor partners.

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional channel management or relevant account management experience, preferably with background from FMCG, CE/IT/Smartphone or Software/Services.
  • Able to scale interaction at executive levels on strategic matters, and has latitude to interface all the way to our Tier 2 partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect and influence key collaborators, manage complex business partnerships and drive business objectives through key relationships.
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing channel growth strategies with partners both short-term & long-term goals, while building sustainable value for customers and partners.
  • Possess great presentation & communications skills (preferably in both English and Filipino).
  • A team player who enjoys collaborative environment with open dialogue and debate.

Description

- Establish and lead close working relationship with the senior collaborators of multi-brand retail partners & distributors, to develop their sales efficiency and maximise the sales of Apple products to end-users. - Demonstrate a deep understanding of market trends, retail channel and develop comprehensive account plans that both align with our partners’ strategies and expand Apple's footprint. - Understand the market and stores on a deep level, spending time in doors and sharing insights to management. - Act as a professional business personnel to develop and manage a reliable forecast and ensure the disciplined use of Apple sales forecasting tools and processes. - Plan and agree with Channel Partners on quarterly sales, marketing and in-store activities, quarterly/weekly sell-in and sell through targets and hold regular performance and planning reviews with Channel Partners. - Work closely with cross-functional teams on forecasts and influence product supply to meet and exceed sales forecasts/targets. - Analyze opportunities in relevant channels and be able to develop strategies to address issues of coverage or quality executions (or both). - Implement marketing programs online & offline, as prescribed by Apple. - Work with the Apple training team to ensure that the team sales staffs are of the highest standard and quality.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree, preferably with Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
