We are seeking a software engineer to join the Apple Music Classical Engineering team. Our team is building exciting user-facing features as well as data processing innovations to support and improve Apple Music Classical.
We work closely with engineering teams across Apple. We are looking for enthusiastic engineers to join us in building these systems, as we strive to deliver an amazing user experience in everything we do.
Key Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a learning attitude
- Hands-on experience building data pipelines using Apache Spark.
- Programming experience in Scala.
- Previous experience developing systems on NodeJS in TypeScript is a plus.
Description
As a member of the Apple Music Classical Engineering team you will have significant responsibility and influence in shaping our products, a phenomenal opportunity with positions currently available as we grow our amazing Amsterdam team.
We are responsible for the full lifecycle of Apple Music Classical (system design, implementation, continuous optimization, and improvement), and we deploy our systems in the public cloud.
Working on our data pipelines means you will be innovating and improving the world’s largest classical music catalog powering Apple Music Classical and other products in the Apple Music ecosystem.
Although services are a bigger part of Apple’s business than ever before, these teams remain small, forward-thinking, and cross-functional, offering greater exposure to the array of opportunities here. We promote innovation and new technology to further improve our creative output.
