Our team helps shape the development of health initiatives at Apple that involve iPhone and Apple Watch. You’ll work on a tight-knit team of professionals alongside industry experts and premier technologists to reimagine how people manage their health and wellness. As a Machine Learning Scientist, you will develop cutting-edge ML algorithms for early detection of certain diseases or disease conditions.

Key Qualifications

5+ years of proven experience in the industry
Expertise with machine-learning techniques, including both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python and R.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
Strong grounding in statistical methods, especially multivariate analysis

Description

As an ML Scientist, you will collaborate with software engineers and clinicians to implement strategies to collect clinical gold-standard and observational data from users. You will build tools to cleanse and efficiently annotate data, and analyze large-scale data sets to detect features that best capture the desired relationship between observation and outcome. Finally, you will design and develop ML models with the goal of deploying these models onto the mobile device.

Education & Experience

PhD in machine learning or other equivalent field

- Excellent attention to detail

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,800.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
