The ideal Enterprise Systems Engineer brings unmatched expertise and delivers a variety of Apple planning, architecture, and sustaining activities such as: Software update management and patch distribution Hardware lifecycle testing, validation, and change control Consulting on Device management policy design, testing, and implementation Security systems architecture, zero trust implementation, and compliance Cloud based Identity Integration (Okta, MSFT Entra, Google) Drive Apple Pilots and POCs Keeping up with emerging technologies, such as AI and Machine Learning Understanding how Apple products integrate Into heterogeneous technical environments Understanding of 3rd party hardware and software partners that integrate with Apple Products A multifaceted presenter who can effectively convey product and technical information in a relatable way to executive and technical audiences alike

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates will have deep technical backgrounds and be able to explain complex problems in simplified terms, tailored to their audience, at all levels of the business.
  • You have experience advising on technical business transformation solutions for large enterprises or at least 5 years of experience in a consultative pre-sales engineering role.
  • Adeptly articulate the benefits of modern deployment methods to your customers and describe the nuances of deploying and managing the Apple platform in large organizations. You are familiar with the features and capabilities of top 3rd party management vendors and are able to demonstrate recommended deployment workflows using MDM and Apple Business Manager for device enrollment, configuration and app distribution
  • Track record of advising on technical business transformation solutions for large enterprises or validated experience in a consultative pre-sales engineering role.
  • Ability to articulate Apple’s position on Security and Privacy and realize the benefits of security that is built in, not bolted on.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Exemplary human skills are needed; the successful candidate must excel in written communication and possess excellent video-based and in-person support skills.
  • Able to see what’s ahead and identify trends that will be necessary for growth within our customers environment.

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep familiarity with 3rd party infrastructure products and services from Apple, Jamf, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Druva, Mosyle, and similar
  • Experience with evaluating sophisticated IT enterprise environments (Deployment, Security, SSO, Zero Trust).
  • Comprehensive understanding of network services and protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, DMVPN, IPSEC. Expert level understanding and practical knowledge of network design for large scale WAN environments demonstrating cellular connectivity
  • Familiarity with Apple’s App development tools and the advantages they bring to large organizations demonstrating mobility for business transformation. Confidently explain the advantages of deploying platform specific apps for business and can appropriately guide customers through the best route to development (build/buy/partner) for a given use case
  • Experience in Python scripting, Generative AI with Large Language Models, and cyber security

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
