The Marcom organization at Apple is a global team responsible for all consumer facing communications. This includes Localization, Advertising, partner Retail Experience and Communications, Interactive/Digital, Video & Motion Graphics, and Direct. Marcom is a creative-led organization that plans, localizes, conceptualizes and implements Apple’s product and services communications that go out into the world. We create communications that bring our products to the world, help people better understand our products, and importantly, help people get the most out of them. The Creative Director, (CD), will help to build and lead a talented team of graphic designers, motion designers, interactive creatives and Production Designers, making creative work that reaches Apple customers throughout CEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East and Africa). The team is comprised of both in-house badged employees & on-site creatives from a range of our agency partners. At Apple, we foster a positive and inclusive team environment. Key Qualifications

  • 15+ years experience in Design/Digital agencies or in-house marketing communications departments
  • Understanding of digital, retail and channel communications in CEMEA
  • Attention to detail, results oriented
  • Team player who takes personal ownership of assigned tasks
  • Excellent communication, selling and presentation skills
  • Ability to work at a strategic and execution level within a matrixed organization
  • Ability to multi-task, deliver under tight timelines and adapt quickly to change
  • Fluency in English


The Creative Director is a key member of Apple's Marcom team, providing leadership for the visual execution of Apple’s marketing communications across all mediums in the CEMEA region. The daily activities of the CD, Design in Dubai will be quite varied. Anything from reviewing creative work to creative origination or developing effective processes with the local teams. The Creative Director, Design will: - Be responsible for directing design work made in-house and by augmenting the team with freelance creatives, and working with external agency partners. - Provide creative support to the regional Marcom team and be the go-to person when design challenges need to be resolved - Ensure that all creative from the worldwide teams is appropriately visually adapted for the CEMEA market and messaging programs are relevant and effective in the local market The CD, Design is adept at building strong relationship with the Cupertino, CA senior creatives, to understand the creative strategy and be a strong voice/educator for the CEMEA team. Building trust, being an effective creative partner, and having the ability to see the big picture while keeping an eye on each detail are key for this role. The Creative Director takes on new challenges and is open to change as they learn what is best for Apple in each region.
