Work with development teams and project owners to design and implement modern user interfaces!
- Design and build Web applications according to project and solution requirements
- Apply user experience and user centered design principles to develop UIs with attention to usability
- Apply design patterns and industry practices to develop modern and adaptable UIs
- Develop and lead backend components, applications, and APIs
- Develop automated tests and ensure quality of code
- Support and applications running in production
- Develop application software and services using microservices architecture
- Participate in crafting and building test and deployment automation
Key Qualifications
- Expertise in one or more languages such as Java
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement modern Web applications
- 3 to 7 years experience developing desktop and/or mobile applications
- Experience with common software development stacks and UI frameworks
- Database design and SQL development experience working with structured and unstructured data
Description
As a Software Engineer on the ISDS Cloud Analytics team you will design and build modern applications that enable business critical functions such as data warehousing and enterprise analytics for Apple. You will work with the latest technologies and development tools while using agile and lean software development methods!
Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technology field
Additional Requirements
- Preferred:
- - Experience in Python, Go, GenAI
- - Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- - Test and deployment automation experience
- - Agile software development experience
- - Experience with data management products and technologies such as Oracle database, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB, Hive, HBase
