Description

A successful Health Study Scientist will have excellent analytical and communication skills, strong ability to rapidly assess user experience considerations, and will thrive in a high performance organization. This is a highly collaborative role that integrates social science principles, clinical + physiological expertise, and an engineering mindset into unique data collection projects. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Collaborating with algorithm development engineers, clinical stakeholders, and regulatory experts to refine data needs into a methodical and user-centric research protocol Crafting a variety of intersecting research questions that power multiple programs Defining study demographic and population requirements Working both independently and in collaboration with highly technical teams on accelerated timelines Advocating for an excellent user experience that balances algorithm data needs with technical tools, operational impacts, and participant considerations Validate data collection plans using gold-standard reference devices Integrating multiple research modalities like surveys, AB testing, or longitudinal data to craft an efficient dataset for engineering partners Making data driven recommendations across multiple research fields that have high impact to product development Clearly communicating research findings to both technical and non-technical partner

Education & Experience

BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
