Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for manufacturing research and development to solve complex manufacturing problems that immediately impact to product cost, quality and delivery of audio products.
- Define and develop assembly fixture and equipment through the application of theoretical and practical engineering to fulfill product design and feature.
- Set and perform standard procedure to qualify the assembly tool. Not only for main tool but copy tool.
- Optimize the key parameter of assembly tool through DOE (design of experiment) and statistic to fulfill product spec.
- Review assembly SOP and ensure critical assembly procedure is included.
- Define critical assembly process control item (parameter, symptom, frequency…) and methodology to avoid any non-controlled process issue happened in production line, reliability test and end user.
- Provide early and ongoing involvement with mechanical design team to ensure new product is mechanically manufacturable.
- Conduct tolerance analysis for case of stack-up and dimensional cosmetic performance.
- Collaborate with design team to define key dimension and factor, and ensure it’s defined in 2D drawing or other documents for standard control.
- Provide manufacturing expertise and risk assessment to design team and work out management and validation plan till issue fixed.
- Conduct mechanical failure analysis in production line, and drive solution and validation happened.
Minimum Qualifications
- - BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering
- - Proficient in written and verbal English.
Key Qualifications
- - Independent work under high pressure and tight schedule.
- - Leadership to drive manufacture site member to achieve our target.
- - Communication skill with cross-function and US team to clarify and tackle issue.
- - Drive team to fix mechanical quality issue and drive high yield rate in mass production.
Preferred Qualifications
- - 5+ year experience in mechanical design and manufacturing engineering.
