The iPhone Division is seeking a hard-working Power/Analog engineer focusing on charging and interfaces, including system interface with power, and battery. You will contribute to the engineering team, developing the next generation iPhone products with responsibilities for the design, implementation and integration of the Charging system. At development stages, this person will work closely with Apple multi-functional teams, Contract Manufacturer teams, and IC vendor teams. Are you ready for your next challenge?
Key Qualifications
- Must have phenomenal EE fundamentals!
- 5 + years overall experience in industry
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is relevant: charger, battery gas gauge, high efficiency DC-DC converters including Switched Cap Converter topologies, BMU, Wireless power interface, USB power interface, switching mode power supply, linear power supply, PMIC, system power architecture
- Experience with collaboration with multiple engineering subject area teams including software, mechanical, and thermal design.
- Experience in prototyping, bring-up, validation, and debugging of circuits and products in the lab
- Strong communication and inter-person/inter-team interpersonal skills, comfortable driving sophisticated issue solving or policy discussion with multi-functional teams
Description
Charging system architecting
Datasheet drafting and reviews
IC design review and bug tracking
Driving/participating in charging/wireless charging/battery system level policy discussions
Charging system integration including schematic and layout reviews, bring up, and debugging
Driving system issues to closure with multi-functional teams
Production test support
Functional and parameter bench verification
Some manufacturing support
Education & Experience
BS/MS EE or equivalent and 5 + years overall experience in industry
