Join a dynamic team of People team professionals focused on product development of our core people solutions. The People Services + Technology team is looking for an experienced Workday developer to partner with our People teams to drive optimization through process, data and technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical Workday experience and be self-directed, motivated, and comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced environment. Experience optimizing global HR processes and technology is required including deep functional depth with Workday including but not limited to Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, Benefits, Absence Management, Time Tracking, Security, Extend along with Reporting and Prism.
Flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. This individual should also have strong analytical, project management and leadership skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning the organization. Candidates must be willing to work at both a very detailed and strategic level.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of product and technical expertise in Workday
- Hands-on experience performing configuration and report development
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Able to work independently, efficiently and stay organized
- Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure
- Ability to use data and analysis to drive decision-making and prioritization crossing multiple functions
- Experience using different qualitative and quantitative methods to gather user research
- Develop and communicate solutions and options, facilitating informed decision making
- Curious and not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo
- Maintains a positive attitude
- Exceptional skills in communication, problem solving and strategic thinking
- Thrives in ambiguous work environment
- Testing experience a plus
Description
Responsible for maintaining configuration and report development in Workday
Prepare, and conduct mass data loads using Workday EIB templates
Thoroughly test configurations through unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) across teams.
Responds promptly to emergent issues with a calm, proactive approach; prioritizing solutions that are right for Apple and focused on user experience.
Provide technical advice and solutions as it relates to configuration by evaluating system workflows and processes
Collaborate with multi-functional cross region partners to develop operational processes to support Appleʼs policies
Gain alignment between the technology and business strategy by proactive partnering with all levels
Communicate development status regularly, including key milestones, accomplishments, key issues and risks
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree is required
- Workday certification preferred
