Description

As the Head of the App Store, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across the Korea App Store by developing and executing locally relevant business and sales strategies. We are seeking someone who can identify new market trends, uncover business opportunities, and engage with key partners to foster growth. You will collaborate closely with both internal and external partners to ensure the best content is available on the platform. Internally, you will manage the App Store team and work cross-functionally with Apple’s Worldwide Developer Relations, Worldwide Product Marketing, App Store, and iTunes teams. A key aspect of your role will be to propose and lead initiatives that enhance the user experience for customers and developers in Korea. As the Head of the App Store and Manager of the App Store team, you will: Identify and initiate strategic opportunities. Formulate strategic plans based on in-depth market and customer analysis. Leverage key internal and external data for decision-making and strategic planning. Execute key projects and strategic initiatives with effective processes. Clearly communicate updates and project status to key stakeholders, including team members and the Country Lead. Lead efforts to provide the best customer experience for App Store users. Foster teamwork among team members in a collaborative and professional manner. Manage and engage direct reports to work together as a cohesive team. Serve as a role model to team members.

Minimum Qualifications

  • You should have a minimum of 7-10 years of meaningful industry work experience in business development, with minimum 5 years experience in online business development
  • Knowledge of relevant wireless and mobile technologies pertinent to the industry
  • Strong knowledge of competitive and 3rd party products and competitor strategy
  • Proven track record of successful negotiation, working with many groups to achieve goals
  • Strong project management skills and fluency with Numbers and Keynote
