The Lead Maintenance Supervisor (LMS) will be responsible for key Maintenance deliverables and oversight to our Maintenance Supervisors and building assets. This person will be critical in ensuring that our Maintenance tech teams have the training and materials they need to complete their tasks. You will be asked to oversee the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, and project support.
Description
The LMS with the guidance of the Maintenance Manager will support key FM related programs including capital planning, vendor management, quality control and construction projects to enable key strategic initiatives. This individual oversees and leads a team of subject matter experts and sub-contractors to translate business plans and/or program roadmaps that align to the KPIs and SLAs. Additionally, one needs to support our departments quality management programs and define performance standards for maintenance services.
The ideal candidate would have extensive Commercial Building Maintenance experience with attention to detail, organizational skills, responsiveness, maintenance safety and logistics, vendor/inventory management, financial skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
To support our 24/7 operation, this role is scheduled as an alternative 4x10 workweek, with potential weekend support.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in commercial building maintenance and/or evidence of exceptional equivalent ability.
- High school graduate or equivalent plus technical training courses or technical school background.

- Supervise and lead maintenance supervising team, including meeting with team members regularly to provide direction, mentoring, constructive feedback, and delivering performance evaluations.
- Provide Maintenance Manager with reports on Maintenance team performance and excellent leadership skills, including communication, coaching and team development.
- Oversee maintenance team service tickets audits (monthly, quarterly, and yearly) to review trends and help prevent future issues and partner with several service departments throughout the organization to help support their teams.
- Participates in ongoing management/technical skill development training programs and ensures technicians close out work orders in a timely manner.
- Ensures compliance to all federal, state, and local laws and company policies.
- Demonstrated communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to write, speak, and present optimally at all levels.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to supervise multiple high priority demands simultaneously. Self-driven initiative to gain and implement a broad knowledge of building maintenance best practices.
- Highly organized and extremely detail-oriented and experience in Apple products, Spreadsheets, BOX, and Tririga preferred.
