Join the team responsible for ensuring the highest quality for technologies at the heart of products known to surprise and delight our customers. The Embedded Sensors Quality Engineering team owns and drives the excellence of quality for the Always On Platform (AOP) which provides a platform for multiple features across Apple products - from driving motion sensors like accelerometers, gyroscopes and IMUs to detecting “Hey Siri” and more on all Apple products like the iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods and Apple Vision Pro and more!
This is a highly entrepreneurial team, always looking for innovative ways to improve status quo and solve difficult problems in new and better ways. You will work in a fast paced environment, interacting directly with development teams within the organization as well as cross-functional teams. The nature of the position requires excellent communication skills, strong technical and debugging skills, and a drive to make a difference.
Description
Own overall testing and quality of the Always On Platform (AOP) and related technologies
Design, develop, and own automated tests for new and existing technologies
Proactively triage and investigate difficult problems
Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure quality releases
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software test and validation methodologies
- Solid OS fundamentals
- Programming experience with C/C++, Python and Shell scripting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Experience with developing, testing or debugging device drivers, firmware, other low level software, embedded systems or sensors
