As part of the Product Management team within the AppleCare Business Development Organisation we are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to support and drive initiatives in EMEIA. You will be responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation and measurement of products, programs, and services that support an exceptional experience for Apple's customers, resellers, and third parties. You possess excellent analytical abilities and can understand trends in service and customer behaviour. You will lead project execution, drive growth, increase operational efficiency and leverage cross company functional areas.

Description

You will focus on innovating the AppleCare product line through the development of new features and the creation of exceptional customer experiences. Oversee assessment and due diligence discussions and project manage launches. You will drive initiatives mostly in EMEIA but sometimes these have global reach. Flexibility required to suit EMEIA and occasional APAC/AMR working hours. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead product/project lifecycle including strategy, objectives, timelines, product definition and project plans. - Own all aspects of new product development and launch in region, collaborate with internal partners to ensure that strategy is aligned with the goals of AppleCare, Product Marketing, Finance and Operations. - Apply multiple methodologies to launch products and drive enhancements throughout the lifecycle. Perform Post Mortem. - Develop regional product launch schedules to ensure NPI readiness. - Own end to end product life cycle including concepts, innovation, launch & sustaining. - Build strong relationships to successfully influence and manage escalations. - Anticipate and navigate project risk throughout the life of the product launch. - Own process improvement and develop solutions that target root causes. - Represent the business in formal business requirement writing. - Key partner working with IST and BPR through the design, development, testing, cutover and production phases. This job is extremely cross-functional and requires strong and effective communication to manage, motivate and influence large teams with competing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on Project Management experience during all phases of the development cycle
  • Experience presenting to multiple teams and leadership
  • Independence, resourcefulness and out-of-box thinking
  • Shown ability to work autonomously, manage to deadlines, attention to detail
  • Demonstrate an exceptional level of business acumen and strategic insight
  • Excellent organisational and documentation skills

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent social and oral/written communication skills
  • Experience in the consumer electronic insurance industry or in partner management
  • PMP Certified (or equivalent)
  • Passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience
  • Analytical mindset with substantial experience leveraging data
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, making decisions on limited information
  • Ability to identify potential challenges / roadblocks in advance and offer potential solutions, a pro-active approach
  • Understanding of Apple’s upstream and downstream systems
  • Possess a high level of system & technical proficiency (e.g. SAP)
