The Channel Marcom team is responsible for driving all marketing communications in the indirect channel, delivering best in class Apple customer experience across all customer touch-points, including communications and merchandising strategies within partners’ brick-and-mortar and online environments.
We are looking for an experienced marketer and project owner to be responsible for driving geo-origination works for Apple’s hardware and services as well as seasonal and tactical campaigns in all indirect routes to market. digital environments.
Description
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams both within and outside of Marcom, and needs strong ownership to drive world-class marketing and communications solutions for Apple’s indirect routes to market. Key responsibilities include:
Work with Partner Comms, Sales, Brand, Strategy and PM teams to identify key business challenges and opportunities. Translate marketing, business and partner objectives into strategic comms plans as well as insightful briefs that will inspire the best possible work.
Serve as single point of contact for responsible projects from an overall planning, communications and deliverables perspective, representing GC’s needs with WW Marcom to clearly articulate local insights, objectives and solutions for responsible geo-origination campaigns.
Oversee cross-functional creation and production process, work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure flawless execution and timely delivery of assets that meet the business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between Sales and Marketing throughout the campaign planning and production process.
Provide hindsights and learnings to local stakeholders and WW Channel Marcom, innovate and evolve the work and how we make it.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in marketing communications, preferred but not limited to the computer, software and technology industries in Greater China
- Bilingual in Chinese and English

- Experience in international account management and/or strategy at a advertising agency or in-house marketing communications for a global brand.
- Related knowledge of channel marketing discipline, including visual merchandising, retail marketing/campaigns, POS, and customer-engagement programs.
- Extensive experience in brand communications (ATL & BTL), and a deep understanding of integrated campaigns across omnichannel touchpoints, including online and offline experiences.
- A deep understanding and curiosity in the consumer journey, and its opportunity to drive connected creative ideas and RTM strategies.
- Experience partnering with, and building productive relationships with Creatives.
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and set priorities within tight timelines and high expectations.
