We are looking for a team member who could be willing to take the challenges and ready to perform as world class level program management tasks with cut-the-edge technologies. The System Engineering Program Manager will be responsible for managing Engineering Development for our future generations. And you will be directly working with both in-region and global based EPM/EPSs, HW/SW Engineering functions and also our Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners to handle all various issues or risks observed in engineering development cycles.
Description
Apple Watch In-region EPM will be participating in design and leading development of next generation of Watch products from concept to mass production, your goal is to ensure all deliverables are met, shipped according to the given timeline, and collect all critical engineering data to support development activities.
- Manage and build CM engineering team to provide qualified engineering project management
- Lead cross-functional communications between Apple Internal project teams and external vendors
- Planning and execution of build events, including material planning, factory readiness
- Work with internal and vendors to define build plan, track, communicate and escalate as appropriate
- Enable the development efforts by creating and monitoring an efficient streamlined process between Apple teams and external vendors
- Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management
- Facilitate good communication and offer multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management.
- Drive day-to-day Engineering build activities at vendor’s factory to meet overall program objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS degree in EE, Mechanical, RF or other technical relevant academic.
- 5+ years of Project/Program management experiences for Hardware products
- Proficient in English and Mandarin both in oral and written
- Proven experience to effectively coordinate cross-functional technical collaborations, multi-tasking management
- Detail oriented

- Relevant NPI experience or engineering development experiences is a plus
- Flexible to travel to US and Asia Pacific to support engineering project
- Excellent consolidation, communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and proactive, who can demonstrate creativities and critical thinking capabilities
- Able to collaborate with multi-functional team to achieve project goals
- Understand and deals well with rapid development cycles and constant changes; Be passion and creative, remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty
