The Global Lease Management team is responsible for the management of lease and financial compliance for Apple’s Corporate and Retail real estate leases, the maintenance of the lease system of record, the reporting of key lease clause and financial data. The team works with many internal cross-functional business partners including Lease Accounting, Real Estate, Technology, Risk Management, Facility Management and Development.
Description
The Lease Abstractor will support the Lease Management and Real Estate teams. Duties include but are not limited to: Ensure 100% data integrity such that lease documents are interpreted, abstracted and entered into the system of record accurately; Ongoing verification and abstraction of lease information and appropriate updating of the database, as needed; Assist with the reconciliation of landlord statements and invoices; Invoice creation for receivable payments; Partner with Risk Management on certificate of insurance requests; Notice drafting, document tracking, and critical date monitoring; Assist with research, ad hoc reporting and project work.
This role reports to the Manager of the Real Estate and Development Lease Services team (RE&D).
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Lease Management with database/records management;
- BA or BS in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent/Paralegal Certificate;
- Ability to review, interpret and abstract legal real estate documents;
- Proven financial, analytical and creative problem solving skills.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Willingness to work as part of a team;
- Accounting background;
