The Apple Wallet and Payments Service in Japan is seeking an Intern to help enable the growth and expansion of our services in Japanese market with a focus on eCommerce.
Within this Tokyo based role, you will work with internal cross functional teams such as business development, marketing, technical program management, and business operations, as well as external parties such as banks, credit card issuers, Fintech, retailers, eCommerce merchants, payment network, payment service providers and customer.

You can expect to:
- Contribute to identify customer struggles and needs, and develop solutions and deliverables
- Develop business cases, manage projects and support commercial and contractual negotiations
- Drive implementation of solutions, ensuring all product requirements are completed to Apple standards
- Engage with and enable partners to deploy solutions with quality that meets Apple standards
- Monitor the outcome of the implemented solutions to maintain outstanding service for customers and to find opportunities for partner improvement
- Conduct business performance analysis, identify areas for opportunity and propose improvement plan
Minimum Qualifications
- Be currently and during time of internship, enrolled in degree level education. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus
- Business Level Proficiency in Japanese and English
- Able to commute to our Tokyo, Roppongi Hills office

- Strong interest/passion in digital financial services/products and eCommerce
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Self-motivated, Driven, with a high level of integrity and sense of urgency to “make things happen” in a fast-paced environment
