Audio | Home MQE team overall manages all the product/process quality in Audio, Home, Power Adapter, Wireless Charger enclosures and small parts made from Article White Plastic or Metal Material. We closely work together with Apple PD, ID and our vendors to enable the fantastic design into reality product with statistic and systematic methodology in quality control and innovation in AIML application in mass production.

Description

Apple MQE is responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for incoming materials, processes and products, solving quality engineering problems in creative and effective way. - Work closely with PD, Reliability Engineering and Operations teams to setup specification and complete qualifications. - Succinctly communicate overall status of qualifications across functional team. - Supports Supplier Quality Engineering in improving and reporting vendor progress. - Travel China domestically or to US to drive builds where needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master or above, Mechanical Engineering & Automation/Computer Science/Industry Design or equivalent major is preferred
  • Familiar with mechanical metrology system evaluation process, such as GD&T, GRR, Correlation, Stability and Reliability
  • Available to join internship for 6-12 months full-time.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written (In both Chinese and English).

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Material science and failure analysis technical knowledge and expertise preferred
  • Experienced in Python, Tableau for data analysis development would be preferred
  • Technical skills in Machine or Computer Vision as well Machine Learning(CNN, transformer, Object detection/Image classification.)
