Description

As a Senior Hardware Secrecy Specialist, you have the incredible responsibility of ensuring prototypes make it safely into engineers’ hands. You will use your people skills to help coach and mentor your teammates and deliver training to ensure consistency across multiple locations. Additionally, you will serve as the voice of management to resolve customer service escalations. You will contribute to the team mission by receiving secure shipments from factories, updating our global tracking database, distributing prototypes to engineers, and collecting old hardware for secure destruction. Additionally, you will help refine and improve processes, keep our stockroom and library organized, and meticulously track the location of thousands of items. In a typical day you will: support daily operations and serve as a point of escalation for your teammates, follow up with cross-functional partners to escalate and resolve key issues, and be assigned short-term or ongoing projects to improve the services we provide to the engineering community. When a new product is publicly announced, you will celebrate the success with the project team knowing your hard work allowed us to surprise and delight our customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience in inventory management, logistics, and customer service.
  • Solid understanding of processes relating to shipping, receiving, carrier exceptions, inventory control.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and other departments.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly. This position also requires the ability to push or pull loaded carts and pallets of goods occasionally.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Two+ years of experience in a leadership role with proven leadership skills, whether guiding by example, coaching a group, or leading a team.
  • Managing and meeting multiple deadlines each week while working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
  • Dedication to observing security guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills, quickly evaluating situations.
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Problem-solving skills to anticipate problems before they happen and handle them appropriately when they do.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work with various stakeholders to achieve objectives
  • Your schedule is flexible. Work hours will be based on business needs and this role will require some early mornings or late evenings. As a leader, you will occasionally be called on to monitor and resolve issues after hours and on weekends.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience creating advanced searches of online databases and working with Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of pivot tables is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Apple’s products and basic troubleshooting preferred.
