Apple display engineering organization is looking for a senior display module engineer to work on the next generation display electronics and technologies as well as their interactions with other display optical subsystems. In this role you will be out-of-box problem solver and will define the next generation display module electrical architecture. Description
- Be energetic, creative and hard-working engineer with very strong analytical skills and a real passion for crafting and innovation. Explore new display technologies from electrical architecture, integration and feasibility standpoints. Promote innovation and new technology to improve Apple's display performance and user experience
- Define EE architecture for new display technologies with understanding of system requirement, component and panel behavior, human vision perception. Perform detailed technical analysis and work with interdisciplinary teams to bridge technology gap between theory and implementable hardware
- Establish performance metrics and requirements through careful use of theory, models and experiments across devices, circuits, and human vision perception
- Analyze trade-offs between performance, manufacturability and cost
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in relevant field with 10 years of industry experience
- Experience in EE fundamentals (such as analog/mixed-signal/digital design, power electronics, etc)
- Experience in system level EE design or analog/mixed-signal circuit design experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Open minded and enthusiastic about new technologies and prototyping
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Prior knowledge/experience in display or camera/CMOS image sensor is strongly preferred
- Knowledge in Optics and/or color science is a plus
- Strong hands-on experimental ability w/ prototyping experience
- Knowledge in Matlab and/or circuit simulation tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good leadership skills to lead multiple Apple and vendor efforts
- Attention to project detail and task tracking
