This is an opportunity to join the Apple Engineering Finance team as a Sr. Financial Analyst focusing on Cloud Infrastructure to support our dynamic Software Engineering team. Our team is responsible for partnering driving the team’s forecast, annual plan, consolidation, and quarter-end close activities in parallel to providing critical analysis to support the company’s product roadmap and technology development decisions. Engineering Finance prepares, tracks, and evaluates performance metrics, provides business and financial analysis in addition to forecasting, reporting, and providing best-in-class business support to the Apple Engineering organization.
Description
- Partner with Software engineering leaders to build, manage and optimize cloud infrastructure financial forecasting and planning
-I mplement and drive internal cloud infrastructure budgeting and capacity request approval process across cross functional key business stakeholders
- Establish quarterly reporting for business leadership including SVPs on economic analysis and cost models
-Provide ad hoc financial support and broad collaboration with multiple teams across Apple, including; Corporate FP&A, Tax, Legal, M&A, Accounting, and global subsidiaries.
- Understand key drivers affecting the above processes and anticipate their effects on our processes, deliverables, and results as drivers change.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant, progressive Finance experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong finance and accounting background showing aptitude for understanding complex financial structures and translating into meaningful business drivers.
- Established financial experience performing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis along with a track record of strong financial modeling with an emphasis in cloud Infrastructure
- Outstanding attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision in financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work with high level of ambiguity and complexity
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record with collaborating across diverse teams
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for clearly presenting findings to key partners
- Demonstrated ability to automate and improve processes
