Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Validate, improve, and shape the direction of a best-in-class platform for health research. Analyze large amounts of data to extract useful insights the organization needs. Create reports for a variety of use cases. Identify new analytic projects or enhancements to existing ones. Update existing data model to better serve analysis needs. Support data consumers by answering questions or providing guidance. Influence the evolution of the data platform. Analyze high-volume health data in support of health researchers and application engineers. Create reports for multiple use cases related to health research that clearly communicate issues and proposed solutions. Identify new analytic projects and enhancements to existing ones. Update existing data model to better serve analysis needs. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $177,838 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 5 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Utilizing Python for task automation, including processing, cleaning, and monitoring.
- Generating data sets, reports and dashboards.
- Utilizing data visualization tools and libraries to convey findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Applying statistical methods, including descriptive and inferential statistics, and hypothesis testing for making inferences from data.
- Debugging software projects to identify root causes of bugs.
- Defining a research problem statement and drafting up research papers based on data analysis.
- Designing data models for various analyst use cases.
