APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Analyze and coordinate the ongoing logistical functions of a firm or organization. Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. Responsible for iPhone reseller product demand insight to forecast demand, inventory, multi-channel sell through, and evaluating risks. Leverage supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to optimize Reseller operations by analyzing demand trends across key partners and regions and understanding all key partner channel
health metrics to optimize supply shipments and availability. Develop and lead critical business alignment discussions such as optimal shipping quantities by key partner and demand
alignment across and within the iPhone product portfolio, including weekly product review, quarter end management with cross functional partners such as Regional Supply Demand
Management, Worldwide Reseller Operations, and Customer Account manager teams. Provide data-driven models and analyze data to drive the business and make key business
decisions. These tools range from identifying non optimal shipping quantities based on customer demand and working with partner teams to align to a more optimal method to help reduce
cost/waste from the supply change to analyzing partner demand trends and working with partner teams to influence demand mix to ensure we are building and shipping supply in the most
optimal mix. Work across the broader Reseller Operations team to aggregate key channel insights across the Americas region and dedicatedly influence business decisions to optimize end
user demand for Apple. Partner closely across all reseller channels on key initiatives and reporting requirements to ensure the necessary data and insights are readily available to analyze
and influence both the partner and partner teams as needed. Participate in cross-functional teams to take capital projects from concept phase to implementation. Identify process
improvement opportunities such as better insights into partner supply chain, target weeks of supply, and online quote management strategy. 40 hours/week.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,400 - $188,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Microsoft Excel including Macros and advanced formulas.
- Using reporting, data mining, and ad hoc analytics tools to comprehend and work with large quantities of data from a variety of sources.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities including partner optimal ordering quantities, and inventory strategy.
- Core Supply Chain and operations principles including inventory management, PO management, maximizing sell-thru and orders.
- Identifying and driving account process improvement opportunities.
- Leveraging data and analytics to influence cross functional partners and leadership including leveraging Excel, Business Objects, and other analytical tools.
- Project management experience, including scheduling, workload prioritization, and cross-functional coordination.
