Here on the Apple Store Online team, we are responsible for Apple’s largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. The Manager, Digital Commerce Project Management oversees a team of Project Managers responsible for delivery of high-quality, accurate content and product data on the Apple Online Stores, Apple Store App, and ancillary platforms. Our ideal candidate is passionate about people, and excited about developing, coaching and mentoring others.
This position represents the WW Project Management function by brokering collaborations, owning quality of deliverables and handoff structures, and ensuring standard methodologies/processes are in place. This includes leading project intake and capacity management, as well as reporting on team utilization, vendor quality, and program health to broader cross-functional leaders.
Description
Lead a team of highly skilled Digital Commerce Project Managers to support the launch and maintenance of Apple’s product line information and content updates on Apple online stores, ancillary platforms, and 3rd party marketplaces by coordinating the handoff and execution of digital content through various partners and internal teams. Drive project management objectives and process improvement plans that ensure scalability and long term excellence in delivering a flawless digital customer experience. Champion project management tools like Wrike to support robust intake and resourcing workflows that reflect data integrity in capacity management and utilization reporting.
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing internal and external partners, coordinating project roadmaps and operational standards with Global teams across Readiness, Marcom, Commercial Marketing, Digital Merchandising and other groups.
Handle conversations with key partners to determine feasibility and resourcing requirements as well as provide guidance and risk mitigation for project escalations and shifts.
Identify and implement innovations that embrace new technologies and methodologies in the Project Management industry to enhance workflows and align with business growth objectives.
Represent the DCM (Digital Commerce Management) team in broader Apple forums, and provide technical, operational, and process best practice advisement for internal partners and customers.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of working in digital or e-commerce project management
- 3+ years leading individual contributors, including on project work and assignments
- Demonstrated achievement in managing high-impact, global digital content campaigns and projects
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

- Previous tech e-commerce experience
- 3+ years of people leadership experience, preferably managing a team of project managers
- Must thrive in the face of ambiguity, constant change, and time-constrained launch schedules
- Excellence in coordinating global teams (marketing, design, technical, localization, quality assurance) with demonstrated success leading multiple projects, priorities and people concurrently
- Demonstrated proficiency in effectively navigating difficult decisions and conflicting points of view
- Experience managing agency and vendor teams from afar
- Familiarity with digital marketplaces and emerging commerce platforms and content management systems
