Here on the Apple Store Online team, we are responsible for Apple’s largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for someone to help us do extraordinary things. The Digital Commerce (DCM) Team is responsible for publishing and maintaining the store on Apple.com, the Apple Store App, and five additional customer platforms across 45 countries. As a Front End Developer, you will be asked to deliver a world-class, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are.

Description

The DCM team is seeking a Front End Developer to be part of a large, tight-knit team, ensuring high quality results while meeting ambitious deadlines. You are self-driven, deeply detail oriented, technically-minded problem solver, comfortable with change and uncertainty in a dynamic work environment. Responsibilities include: - Deliver web development creation for Apple product launches and updates via daily work in Photoshop, web content and HTML/CSS to create pixel perfect deliverables for the Apple Online Store and mobile platforms. - Working efficiently under incredibly tight timelines and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality of product and services. - Working with the Engineering partners to establish and support standard processes. - Creating and maintaining documentation of the development processes and workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience developing content on large scale websites with HTML + CSS and SCSS
  • 2+ years experience with Git and GitHub.
  • Experience and proficiency working with Photoshop and Sketch or Figma as it pertains to interpreting mockups
  • Ability to effectively engage in high level, self-directed time management and prioritization of workload

  • Strong UI/UX design skills
  • Portfolio of previous work (links, mocks, etc)
  • Experience with workflow automation such as Gulp or Webpack
  • iOS development experience
