We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for data collection software on both prototype and shipping hardware! The ideal candidate will have experience working with sensing systems and a track record of delivering products and developing talent on their team.

Description

-Lead a team delivering data collection software across multiple Apple Devices -Develop the engineers on your team and drive for engineering excellence -Plan and execute strategies for enabling new features and hardware through data -Integrate with ground truth systems -Create experiences that are engaging and easy to use

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience in system software development, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years leading a development team
  • Expertise and proficiency in C++, Objective-C, or Swift

  • Passion for product ownership and track record of product development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to coordinate the efforts of multiple teams
  • Self-directed: the ability to drive a project from a simple idea to production
  • Experience with sensing or video systems
  • Strong system level understanding

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
