Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of amazing products and services. This in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team, in many ways, is the face of Apple to our largest customers.
The Business Development Consumer Offers team generates sales revenue growth by developing and driving consumer offers around affordability (trade-in, financing, etc.) across the US consumer channel. As a US Consumer Offers Business Development Lead, you will drive Apple’s end-to-end affordability strategy from inception to flawless implementation while demonstrating passion to create and deliver new, innovative consumer offers to make Apple products and services more accessible to consumers.
This is a highly visible and critical role in team USA, working directly with Apple senior leadership, US consumer team, local sales teams, channel partners, trade-in vendors, procurement, finance and marketing.
- Lead our affordability programs partnering with channel partners, sales teams, sales planning and operations, Marcom, Finance, Trade-In partners, and banks to optimize consumer offers
- Develop and propose competitive offering proposals around trade-in, forward trade-in, upgrade programs, subscriptions and installment models.
- Engage with Resellers, maintaining and developing key relationships
- Propose new projects in conjunction with Apple partners and be an end-to-end project leader to ensure flawless execution
- Work in partnership with internal stakeholders, presenting, approving, implementing and monitoring the offer strategy and go-to-market strategy.
- Consistently maintain an innovative and competitive approach to our proposals, consistently striving for new, effective ideas.
- Measure and report the impact and takeaways which can be implemented in future offers.
- Promote innovation and new technology to further improve Apple's hardware performance and user experience.
- Generally requires 10+ years of in-depth experience developing affordability solutions with experience in Telco, Tech, Financing, Retail, Consumer Goods or Strategy Consulting.
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and problem-solving skills in a changing and dynamic environment
- Develop creative solutions, and demonstrate resourcefulness, while maintaining the highest attention to detail.
- Hands on mentality and drive for excellence. Project management skills or experience delivering to multiple high priorities at the same time.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous with strong intuition for business and consumer focus.
- Exceptional ability to evaluate, analyze and present data to executive level
- Proven ability to cultivate senior executive relationships and to navigate partner organizational structures.
- Knowledge of consumer electronics products and market trends; exceptional insight into customer purchasing behaviors.
- Consumer/retail experience a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically, to deliver on short and long term goals.
