GGML Bringup and Triage Engineer

We are seeking a results-oriented, upbeat and focused individual with a strong passion to learn and succeed.
The GGML Bringup and Integration Team needs a system software engineer to analyze and debug issues in Apple’s GPU driver, optimize GPU power/performance, and design and build tools to streamline the triage and debugging process.
As a pivotal member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in low-level system architecture to facilitate GPU functionality on novel products and SoCs, thereby addressing critical GPU challenges encountered across Apple’s portfolio.
Your responsibilities will encompass optimizing GPU power management to enhance system power and performance for a diverse range of applications, including gaming, professional workflows, and machine learning. You will design and implement features for automated triage and debugging platforms, thereby augmenting developer productivity during the debugging process of intricate issues.
Furthermore, you will collaborate with a highly skilled team to seamlessly integrate the kernel and firmware into the graphics platform, thereby maximizing the graphic and compute capabilities of Apple products on both iOS and macOS.
- Technical BS/MS degree
- Good programming with knowledge of C/C++ and Python
- Understand computer system architecture
- Understanding of driver development or operating system concepts
- Excellent debugging skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with GPU hardware and software architectures
