The Maps Field Coordinator is responsible for supporting field efforts for the Maps team. Key Qualifications

  • - A combination of operational and planning management experience
  • - High levels of operational process and task execution competence with organized and hands-on approach
  • - Experience working in environments that require flexibility and adaptation
  • - Dedicated individual with excellent time and project management skills and sense of urgency
  • - Understanding of navigable and other map features from a surveying and specification/product perspective
  • - Comfortable working with developers for UAT, tool improvements suggestions, and tool problem issues
  • - Experience with map imagery/spatial analysis
  • - Highly technical, professional, confident and can work with all levels of our organization
  • - Able to travel for extended periods of time
  • - Experience with Maps, GIS or Logistics
  • - Experience working with Federal, County or Municipal Governments
  • - 5+ years GIS/Mapping experience
  • - 3+ years’ experience leading small teams
  • - Excellent web research skills
  • - Proficient with Mac OS and iOS
  • - Proficient with Mac apps (Keynote, Numbers, Pages) and Excel, Word
  • - Ability to quickly learn various internal and external apps
  • - Not afraid to ask questions!
  • - Arc/QGIS experience a plus


- Our team is responsible for maintaining particular regions and reporting to central management. - Will manage/coordinate a team of surveyors/researchers and drive operators (contractors). - Primary POC for government and other agencies within a particular region - Comfortable establishing and maintaining those professional relationships that may sometimes be high profile. - Will influence/make business decisions where cost/benefit analysis and local knowledge is essential. - Local expert in your region, knowing all high profile AOIs, POIs, pedestrian and road issues/patterns
