Signal and Power Integrity Engineer (m/f/d)
Apple’s PMU Hardware Tech team are responsible for delivering the power in a highly configurable and controlled way to the high end Apple SoCs, which power everything from Apple Watch and Apple TV to iPhone, iPad and Mac.
We are looking for an outstanding engineer to join the Silicon Engineering team in developing hardware for Power Management Silicon Validation. You will work with a multi-functional team in the performance characterization of new Apple Silicon through board level Signal and Power Integrity analysis.
You will work closely with the cross-functional silicon validation team in defining the scope and methodology for signal and power integrity simulation and correlation measurement at the PCB level based on margins provided by the silicon/package design team. You also need to provide context to the simulation and lab measurement results and how they relate to the performance of the validation hardware.
On every project, based on your simulation results, you are expected to provide guidance on how to resolve signal and power integrity issues. You also need to guide the PCB designers on best practices in parts placement, layer assignment and routing.
