Optimize and execute validation processes, ensuring seamless quality assurance across the releases.
Effectively handle resources, to ensure smooth execution and adaptability to changing priorities.
Define and implement key quality metrics (e.g., test case coverage, test efficiency, defect leakage) to track and enhance validation effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Self-motivated, able to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgment.
Deliver timely and precise updates on testing status and quality metrics to collaborators throughout all testing phases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively debug and resolve complex technical issues.
Advocate for superior software testing practices within the team and foster adoption across the organization, promoting software development methodologies that enhance overall software quality.
Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced environments with frequent context switching.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field with 5+ years of experience in Quality Management, with expertise in QA methodologies, and a strong understanding of automation technologies (e.g., mobile testing frameworks, scripting, AI-driven tools).
- 3+ years of people management experience, including scaling teams or leading teams through change, with demonstrated ability to collaborate across time zones.
- Ability to analyze workflows and systems to recommend and implement automation solutions, improving efficiency, reducing manual effort, and enhancing overall quality processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience defining, tracking, and acting on quality metrics to drive measurable improvements.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology and processes.
- Proficiency in project management, defect tracking, and industry-standard quality tools, ensuring effective execution and oversight of validation processes.
- Proficient at balancing multiple efforts simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Shown success in implementing and executing quality strategies for large mobile app/ e-commerce platforms, with a strong focus on optimizing the customer journey.
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills, with a track record of aligning stakeholders across teams and organizational levels to drive quality initiatives.
- Analytical, methodical, inquisitive and persistent problem solver committed to driving quality forward.
- Ability to abstract technical details and optimally communicate to audiences at different levels.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
