The HW Design Engineer, Wireless will work on the next generation iPhone and other innovative products. You will be part of a world class design team, acting as the team’s local technical expert at manufacturing sites in China.
You will be working with manufacturing teams and RD colleagues to build, validate and optimize baseband hardware circuits and systems for wireless communications devices from first prototype build to mass production, requiring proactive multi-functional cooperation with other engineering groups such as other EE teams, FW, AP, RF, production test etc. Help to implement validation plans for digital interfaces such as SIM, I2C, PCIe, SPMI, RFFE etc. Debug and solve baseband hardware and interfaces. International and domestic travel is likely.
- Strong EE Fundamentals including board design process, Schematic/PCB development tools, electrical components selection, power/clock management and signal integrity knowledge of high/low speed digital interfaces, such as PCIE, RFFE, SPMI, I2C, etc.
- Proficient in Test and debug of digital and analog circuitry.
- Hands-on experience using test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power supply, logic analyzer, etc.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering related majors, and 5+ years for Bachelor or 3+ years for Master of relevant industry experience.
- Should be well organized and have the ability to be flexible in a changing work environment.
- Experience working with manufacturing an advantage.
- Knowledge/Experience of wireless communication systems (Cellular, WiFi, BT, NFC, UWB) is a plus.
- Python scripting experience is a plus.
