Apple is looking for a world-class Quality Analyst to join the worldwide business development and strategy team. This is a unique opportunity to help the growth of one of Apple’s global initiatives and contribute to launching ground-breaking new features in support of Apple’s demand generation strategy.
For this position, we are looking for an individual who has experience in Quality Assurance in the Business Intelligence field, demonstrating different levels of responsibility over the course of their career.

Key Qualifications
- Excellent communicator with the ability to interpret technical lingo to end users
- Experienced in data driven approach, implemented techniques for data reconciliation in systems with high frequency loads in business critical environments
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Business Objects, Tableau or other analytic tools with a drive to dive deep
- Strong understanding of Business Intelligence concepts
- Experience in working in teams using Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
- Understanding of automated test suites and frameworks such as Selenium, Python and JavaScripts
- Experienced in Test Strategy, Planning and Execution including Functional and Non Functional testing
- Understanding of Dimensional Modeling and Data warehousing
- Understanding of the Finance Industry, Supply and Demand Management, Units forecasting
- Experience in project collaboration products such as Jira, Confluence, Quip, Miro
- Experience in Data Migration projects
- Self-motivated and proactive with critical thinking and creative problem solving skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment
Description
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deep dive into various financial & hierarchical data points in different sets of hierarchies, understanding the nuances of how complex data behaves
- Define and implement the test strategy based on Functional Requirements driven by the Product Manager
- Work closely with the Product Managers to define test plans that ensure data quality both on new development and regular data loads
- Drive test coverage across different source systems, transactional applications and reporting environments, taking into account new features and regression
- Execute test scenarios in a repeatable manner, allowing for easy data quality monitoring
- Coordinate release management and hold the final go / no-go in terms of data quality and functional behavior
- Act as first gate for LiveOps issues, confirm the behavior and makes the call on priority with Product Manager
- Report on found issues in a clear, well defined way
- Collaborate with Engineers to understand implementation logic
- Manage tickets on found data issues and work with the Product Manager to plan out bug fixes
- Communicate status updates to end users and stakeholders concisely in a timely manner
Education & Experience
BS or MS in Engineering/Computer Science
