The Corp Dev Integration & Research Analyst will partner with Apple's Corporate Development team to deliver the successful integration of acquired companies globally. For each acquisition, this person will contribute to multiple integration work streams, build integration plans, review data, identify issues and drive decisions while coordinating with experts throughout Apple. The analyst will also work closely with the University Partnerships lead to manage Apple’s relationships with universities including sponsored research, consortia, and other funding programs.
- Conduct due diligence and guide decision making as a member of the core deal team to support integration planning
- Participate in the end-to-end integration process from performing due diligence, creating an integration plan, organizing Day One and implementing the plan
- Track and document post-close integration activities until final completion
- Establish integration approach for smaller acquisitions and assist on larger, more complex transactions
- Identify roles and responsibilities for cross-functional integration team members
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, HR, Legal, IT, Real Estate, Operations, Corporate Communications, Marketing, Finance, and Tax to define and execute the integration plan
- Actively recognize integration risks, and solve cross-functional issues
- Act as central point of contact for integration information for our partners across Apple
- Facilitate research partnerships between Apple and universities by executing a variety of contracts including consulting, directed funding, and consortium agreements
- Manage cross-functional team members and university partners through the negotiation for research projects
- Update process documentation and Claris database with project information
- Bachelors degree in Business, Economics or similar
- A minimum of 2 years experience in post-merger integration or 4 years experience in project management
- Have experience working on multiple projects at the same time, with cross-functional business partners
- Have ability to think both strategically and tactically and ability to work with a high degree of ambiguity
- Be a team player, with ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate high emotional intelligence and strong business acuity
- Place a high degree of attention to detail and be highly organized
- Possess confidence in leading meetings, comfort with making decisions and ability to document and respond quickly to inquiries
- Possess excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written and the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- Build and cultivate strong relationships at all levels
- Be naturally curious and want to learn more about topics in which you have limited prior knowledge in
- Be proactive and be able to influence and motivate without authority
- Be fluent with Pages, Keynote, MS Excel and Claris
