The Enterprise Professional Services Engineer is a highly collective role providing mentorship to Enterprise customers. At the end of the day, we are here to help enterprise businesses transform the way people work— while growing top-line revenue for Apple. To realize this goal, we gain deep understandings of the businesses we manage—at all levels from tactical to strategic. We build a vision that can inspire customers to transform using Apple products. We collaborate closely with internal and external partners to craft plans for solutions and new use cases, and then we help drive execution of the solution.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience diagnosing and solving problems in a macOS / Unix / environment and integration with Microsoft Windows 7/10, Active Directory and Exchange environments
  • 4+ years of experience configuring iOS and managing with MDM
  • You have expertise diagnosing and solving problems in a macOS / Unix / environment and integration with Microsoft Windows 7/10, Active Directory and Exchange environments
  • You show proficiency configuring iOS and managing using MDM
  • You have experience deploying iOS and MDM (JAMF, AirWatch, MobileIron)
  • You have proof of equivalent skills and ability to rapidly obtain the certifications macOS 10.11 Apple certifications (101/201)
  • You show production experience with Apple Security (i.e how to "lock down" Mac/iOS environments)
  • Experienced level knowledge of the UNIX shell and macOS specific shell commands
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one scripting language (bash, perl …)
  • Understanding of Apple's tools and client management tools such as Profile Manager, 3rd party MDM solutions and Apple Configurator 2
  • JAMF CCA/CCE certification is highly desirable (level 300 / 400)
  • Understanding of complex, very large MSFT AD / PKI environments and how to integrate Macs with large AD forests
  • Ability, dream and motivation to learn
  • You have the ability to travel 50%

Description

You advise customers on Apple hardware and software standard methodologies, interacting with third party service providers and multiple internal teams. You will work with non-tech savvy users, engaging with help desk support if required. You effectively lead various projects and help build well-written documentation (i.e. deployment documents, white papers, etc). You conduct periodic training sessions, collaborating with teams across various IT environments and occasional public speaking in front of groups of 5 to 20 people.
