We are looking for self-driven, passionate engineers to provide support of design, bring up, validation, failure analysis and manufacturing for our iPhone products. Our products are on the groundbreaking in every way: innovation, integration, power consumption, usability, connectivity, and reliability. The candidate will play a meaningful role in the development of Apple products, collaborating with cross functional design teams. The role is based in Shanghai or Shenzhen, China.

Key Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will work hand in hand with system EE, silicon and OS team. He/She should have some of below skills:
  • Good coding skills in: C/C++, Python, Shell, etc;
  • Familiar with micro-architect and AP SoC architect; Arm architects are preferred;
  • Hardware, Power and thermal knowledge are preferred;
  • Experiences on OS service in terms of kernel or driver development and debugging; Familiarity with BSD/Mach-like kernel is a plus;
  • Data post processing and visualisations; Algorithm and/or machine learning experience is a big plus;
  • Familiar with JTAG and source level debugging toolchains;
  • Prerequisites:
  • Be self-driven and passionate with excellent teamwork spirit;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese;
  • Positive attitude and enjoy a fast pace environment;
  • Experience with version control tools.

Description

This person will be responsible for: Participate in design and development of next generation iPhone from concept to mass production; System level SW/FW test development; SOC(system on chip) SW and SOC test in contractor manufacture; SOC level trouble shooting and failure analysis across system, silicon and/or SW/FW; Data analysis, post processing, and related tools development; Largely co-work with system electrical engineer. Work closely with contract manufacturer team, and take a lead role to achieve our goals with a very high quality bar;

Education & Experience

B.S( or M.S) of Electric engineering, Electronic Science and Technology, Information and Communication Engineering, Control Science or engineering, Computer science and Technology, or equivalent industry experience;
