As an Engineering Program Manager (EPM) in the New Technology organization, you will be responsible for leading the development builds of key modules (Display, Touch, Camera, etc.). Your goals are to ensure that modules are built according to specifications, and shipped according to the given timeline. Key Qualifications

  • Good in English (verbal / written)
  • Could Speak Mandarin
  • 6 - 10 years experience (minimum 5 years in engineering development or engineering program management)
  • Have general knowledge on product development life cycle (Proto build, EVT, DVT etc)
  • Program Management Experience
  • Engineering Build Schedule Planning
  • Hosting regular meeting / review with X-functional team
  • Familiar with technical risk assessment review
  • Good in writing technical review summary note / report
  • Technical (Good to have)
  • General industrial manufacturing process like Display TFT, SMT, die cutting, plastic injection moulding, sheet metal stamping etc
  • Problem solving methodology / tool (FACA report, 5Y, fishbone etc)
  • Failure analysis (FA tool) like SEM/EDX, FTIR etc
  • New production line Equipment / tester bring up

Description

- Lead cross-functional communication between Apple Internal project teams and external vendors. - Work with Engineering Management and Vendors to define plan, track, communicate and escalate as appropriate. - Enable the development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient, streamlined process between Apple teams and external vendors. - Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management. - Facilitate good communication and offer multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management. - Drive day-to-day Engineering build activities, at vendor’s factory, to meet overall program objectives.

Education & Experience

BS and above in Engineering degree preferred
