Key Qualifications

  • Hands-on industrial experience in the design and development of fast pace manufacturing processes and equipment;
  • Process and equipment knowledge in display industry (LCD/OLED display, semiconductor processing, LED manufacturing, etc);
  • Knowledge for GD&T, failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem solving for product yield and quality issue;
  • Ability to design and implement DOEs, FMEA, SPC control, GR&R, correlation analysis, Cp/Cpk and MSA;
  • Experience with development and evaluation of Measurement Technology (OMM, CMM, etc);
  • Excellent data analysis / communication / project management skills;
  • Excellent written & verbal English communication required;
  • Vietnamese / Korean language skill preferred;
  • Willing to travel frequently upon business request;
  • JMP, Tableau, NX/CAD experience is a plus.


As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you drive the development and engineering of processes technology, manufacturing equipment to enable new features in Apple displays. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Responsible for all aspects of manufacturing processes in mass production; - Run supplier’s design, process flow, equipment selection, process CTQ, DFM; - Plan validation exercises to demonstrate initial and mass production feasibility; - Assess supplier’s production readiness to support build events and production ramp; - Collaborating with development engineering teams to evaluate various process technologies, equipment designs, and suppliers, and identify/select the best method for mass production; - Perform risk assessment, identify mitigations and corrective actions to ensure design compliance and pre-defined specifications; - Work with internal and external groups to ensure that accurate definition of quality expectations and that appropriate assurance techniques are used for the product; - Leading roll-out of equipment, material, and process across the Apple display supply chain, optimize the processes and the equipment for device performance, yield, quality, reliability, throughput, UPH, efficiency and ramp the new equipment/process into full mass production.

Education & Experience

MS or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other similar fields.
