Apple is currently seeking enthusiastic engineering students who are keen in doing internship with us. The intern will provide support to design, engineering, prototyping, and validation activities for all hardware product lines.

Key Qualifications
- You may meet or have interest in any one of the following qualifications:
- Solid EE fundamentals in both analog and digital design and comfortable with tackling new challenges with the critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Circuit level simulation experience in EE simulation platforms like Cadence/ADS/LTspice etc.
- Familiar with various communication protocols (USB, SPMI, SPI, I2C and UART) and low power embedded systems e.g. ARM Core Processors
- Experience with working with cross functional FW partners. Direct coding experience and algorithm design experience is a plus
- Experience with instrumentation equipment (Impedance analyser, virtual network analyser, and oscilloscope).
- Proficient in modelling, data collection, data analysis, and statistical analysis tools (e.g. Python, JMPm Matlab)
- Team player and great communication skills
- Hands-on experience (Soldering, circuit measurement, prototyping).
- Knowledge and experience in Power electronics and direct wireless charging is preferred
- Hands-on experience and proven track record in system definition, integration, architecture, prototyping, and validation preferred
- Prior internship or work experience preferred
Description
Some responsibilities in Power System Design and Integration Internship may include:
- Cadence and MATLAB modelling support.
- New circuit or power technology proof-of-concept investigations.
- Python scripting for data collection and driving test robots, prototyping of new hardware, system bring-up, characterisation, testing and validation factory data collection and support activities.
- Design of Experiments (DOE) creation, execution and data analysis.
- Production system-level problem solving - Failure analysis, root cause & corrective action proposal.
Education & Experience
Currently pursuing Bachelor Degree/Master Degree/PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering or similar degree.
Additional Requirements
- - Able to commit for at least 3 months full-time for the internship.
